From Spain into France

This entrance to the church dates back to the 1400s as do some of the bricks used to rebuild the walls. The first mention of a church to St Peter in this area was in the 9th century. This Pals church was badly damaged during the civil war in the 1400s and rebuilt with stones from the castle, which was also in ruins.
